Google SEO tips for beginners - learn how to rank in search engines
Follow these instructions, and you will get higher rankings. Assuming your content has somewhat decent quality...
- Your page title needs named entities (words with a Wikipedia page). Minimum 2.
- Mirror the title in your h1, and throw in at least one more named entity.
- Do NOT keyword stuff your title.. Google hates it. PrimeIndexer data tells me this is the number one reason pages don't get indexed.
- Target keyword goes in the url, title, h1, h2 and meta description. All of them.
- Using AI? Run it through Originality.ai and get below 10%.. PrimeIndexer data shows a very clear pattern here. Higher AI% equals lower indexing rate.
- Write your h2s as questions, and answer them in the very first sentence below.
- Find the entities your top competitors are using with something like https://schemawriter.ai.. then write FAQ questions around those named entities. Or just let SchemaWriter handle it.
- Blog articles should use schema type BlogPosting.. PrimeIndexer data shows this type has the strongest correlation with high indexing rates.
Worth knowing.. LLMs cannot actually find named entities. Ask them and they will return a bunch of keywords that look right, but are not necessarily Wikipedia keywords.
SchemaWriter analytics show a very large correlation between named entity usage and rankings..
Looks like a lot.. but drop this whole list into Claude and turn it into a skill.
Have fun.
