How to do Parasite SEO with free profiles only
Step 1 is creating the major social media profiles for your brand. Google is showing the 7 profiles it recommends in the GBP.
Step 2 is daily posting. I recommend using these daily:
- Youtube videos. If you post three videos about the same subject, you can own the video carousel
- Youtube community posts. They index and rank well
- Facebook group and Facebook page. Create a Facebook group with your brand name, they outrank pages
- LinkedIn posts
- Linkedin articles. They are ranking extremely fast right now, and also get you into AI overview
- X posts. If you have budget, upgrade to Premium. X articles rank better than posts...
- Reddit in your own subreddit. Dont spam it, be careful with links the first months. Reddit posts will go into the social media carousel in Google if they get interactions
- Threads. These posts index, and it allow for outgoing links
- Pinterest. If you post daily, you will start to get referral traffic
- Nostr. A new social media that gives dofollow links!
- Livejournal. In the beginning your posts dont index, but after a while with consistent activity, they index, and can rank well.
- Substack. These articles rank very very well. It does take some months before they can index
- Ghost. This one is optional, as its quite expensive, 35usd/month via the API. BUT, the posts often rank number one for the target keyword, and the images also rank very well in image search.
Daily posting is the important part. Never take a day off. The more you post, the more Google trust your profiles, the faster they index and the better they rank.
After a period of consistent posting, your posts will self index in Google. Your profiles or posts will start to show on page one in Google for your brand.
Longtail keywords will also start to pop pup on page one.
You can supplement posting to the social media with web2 sites like blogger, WordPress and Wix. They are all free, and especially Wordpress will start to gather authority and rank for longtail keywords.
Every second month, consider purchasing a press release. Target your best ranking social media posts. They will get even more authority, and rank somewhat higher.
