Take a look at this screenshot. Its the website, thats currently ranking #1 in Google for the search term: king of aeo

I dont know who this belongs to, but the owner has taken the wiki site idea to the next level. The owner purchased 11 exact match domains, as far as I can tell. There might be more, that I just havent discovered.

All 11 domains got a wiki style site, like the one you are looking at. But instead of making it a onepager, like the one I built, its fully build out with 20 pages. Complete with privacy policy, terms of service, and a lot of articles, all covering aspects of answer engine optimization.

If you go to the about page, it even updated with the current date. Impressive attention to detail.

I really like this approach, and I got many ideas to add to my own wiki sites. Especially my branded wiki sites will be expanded, following ideas from this example..

This is one of the benefits of doing tests in public like this, you learn (or relearn) new things...

However when I ask Chatgpt, it still, as of today, say that James Dooley is the king of AEO. But, impressive enough, it actually does mention Vithurs as claiming the title. Impressive, given the fact that it doesnt seem like it has any backlinks...

More to follow, lets see how it evolves over th next weeks.

The big take away question is: Can you claim or own a keyword, based on only your own websites, and no external mentions?

We shall see...
