Three ways of using social media for AI visibility

Google is giving social media posts an unfair advantage in the current algorithm. You can use this to your advantage, if you want to get more leads/business for your services.

Reddit

Set up your own subreddit. Treat it like your own website. Dont spam it, dont add excessive outgoing links, and post regularly, but not too much. Over time, you will gain trust in the Reddit algorithm (look up cqs score), and you can make the occasional post about your keywords you want to rank for. But important: Never spam, you wouldnt put spam on your clients or you own website.

Reddit posts just rank like its almost too much power they have. They are one of the most cited urls in the AI overview, next to Linkedin..

LinkedIn

Use Linkedin. Its a professional network, but also a social media. And Linkedin posts and articles rank like crazy. In fact, they are just as powerful today, as Reddit posts, if not more. Once again, dont spam, actual people follow you, and you dont want your name associated with AI slop... Use keyword tools like Ahrefs to find opportunities.

Linkedin posts or articles will go straight into AI overview, the second they are indexed (For low to medium keywords)

Youtube

Youtube videos are unmatched. Your laptop has a webcam and mic. Record yourself, and the screen while you talk about your service. It doesnt have to be fancy. Add the keyword as the title, and in the beginning of the description, and you are done with the most effective Youtube SEO.

Youtube videos rank in several ways. They can be a standard old school blue link. They can be part of the video carrousel. They can be cited in AI overview.. In short, Youtube is the most powerful platform...
